Area Agency on Aging (AAA)

Through a contract with the Rio Grande Council Government Area Agency on Aging, Amistad provides Nonemergency Medical Transportation services to individuals 60 years of age and older. Transportation is provided to dialysis, medical appointments, or other related approved destinations. 

Who is eligible?

•  Persons 60 years of age & older
•  Approved by AAA
•   City and county transportation 

Purpose: Nonemergency Medical Transportation 

Referrals:  AAA faxes the referrals to Amistad 

Hours of Operation:  5:30 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Saturday
