Amistad annually offers several opportunities to give back directly to the community through our Amistad Giving Back Program. Through this program we create donation events that target the communities most needy individuals directly, with the hope that these direct giving events will not only offer relief to the needy, but will also be cause for community awareness in our available services.
With temperatures beginning to drop, Amistad wants to make sure El Paso families are staying warm this winter by distributing free socks. Families in need are encouraged to drive-by and pick up a pair of socks for all members of their family. The event is open to the general public and socks will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Although the holidays are over, the pandemic continues to affect the community’s livelihood. The MLK Day of Service encourages all Americans to improve their communities through volunteer service. Amistad is requesting the community’s help to provide COVID-19 relief for El Pasoans who are struggling to put food on the table for their families.
